Undesirable: The Untold Story of Anthony Acevedo

Anthony C. Acevedo was a World War II medic who became the first Mexican American to register as a concentration camp survivor. Interviews and documentaries pertaining to this horrific time in Mr. Acevedo's life can be found on the Internet, but they do not tell the complete story of his extraordinary life. In this documentary, which is the first to feature Acevedo's children, they reveal the untold story of their father's life. Created, written, directed, and produced by Rodolfo Alvarado, the goal of this project is to provide history with the complete story of Mr. Acevedo's life and to bring awareness to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This project starts production in the summer of 2022 and will premiere in the Spring of 2023.
