Rodolfo Alvarado is an eclectic American writer living in Michigan with his wife, children and his adopted cat, Stuffy. His fiction and non-fiction have appeared in literary journals, academic and popular presses, as well as on stage and film. In 2022, he launched The Perla Garcia Mysteries Podcast. The podcast is based on the book series of the same name.  He currently finalizing plans for Undesirable: The Untold Life of Anthony Acevedo. The documentary sheds further light on the first Mexican American to register as a concentration camp survivor. He holds a Fine Arts PhD and an MFA in Playwriting from Texas Tech University, as well as an MA in History from Eastern Michigan University, where he was a University Fellow and a Parks/King/Chavez Fellow. He has taught at the University of Michigan, Texas Tech University, Ave Maria University and Eastern Michigan University.  In the corporate world, he worked for Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village and the Ford Motor Company.

John Hernandez, is currently based in Iowa. He is a professional horse racing and broadcasting veteran with nearly 40 years of experience in front of the camera, on the microphone, and behind the scenes. Since January 2021, he has been working with Rodolfo Alvarado to produce, market and sell the limited series, The Mexican Nightingale, as well as developing and producing a feature film based on the life of hall of fame jockey, Garrett Gomez.  Since his first job in Thoroughbred horse racing, at the inaugural Fall/Winter meeting at Hollywood Park in 1981, John has served in a variety of roles including on-camera commentator, radio show host, publicity writer, racing news director, oddsmaker, program coordinator, and horsemen’s liaison. His career has taken him from Hollywood Park to Santa Anita and Del Mar in California, Hialeah Park in Florida, Prairie Meadows in Iowa and through radio/television stations in Bakersfield, Monterey, Anchorage, and San Diego. During his four years as a television sports anchor in Anchorage in the mid-80s, John traveled the world covering Alaska sports and athletes in countries including the Soviet Union, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, and Canada. He holds a BA in Journalism from San Diego State University. John first worked with Caballo Media Production's founder, Rodolfo Alvarado, in the 2000s, coordinating publicity and book signings at Del Mar, Santa Anita, and Emerald Downs (WA) for the release of Alvarado's Joe Hernandez biography.

Juan Daniel S. Coronado was raised in West Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Psychology and certifications in secondary education. While attending Texas Tech, he had a short stint acting in the university’s Lab Theatre. As an educator, he taught and directed Theatre Arts twenty-one of his twenty-four years in public schools. Juan-Daniel practiced what he “preached” to his One Act Play thespians, as he found time to act in community productions of: “Alice in Wonderland,” “The 1940’s Radio Hour,” “As You Like It,” and others. Juan-Daniel currently works as a private tutor and educator. He is also currently developing projects for television and film.

Steve Somers is a guitarist, band leader, composer, educator, recording engineer and producer.  He is currently teaching music at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI, as well as developing a number of musical projects for television and film.
